Catholic Youth Camp 2025

Thank you for your interest in CYC 2025. If you are coming to CYC this summer with you parish or school, please proceed to CYC FORMS AND INFO by clicking HERE or by using the button below.

All CYC campers must register through and with a participating Catholic school or parish. Campers visiting this page: please check with your campus minister or parish youth minister to see if your school or parish will participate this summer. If they will not, check out Damascus' Catholic Youth Summer Camp.

To better ensure year-round discipling and faith formation, we ask that you register one youth minister, priest, deacon, religious and/or adult chaperone for every six high school students coming to camp. You are encouraged to be with your campers in the cabins and in small groups. Sharing in the discussions, prayer and activities creates meaningful memories and a common reference for the pastoral year ahead.

Our teen summer camps are especially well-suited for Catholic schools and parishes interested in:

an amazing retreat-camp experience, with kind, faith-filled missionaries, interesting talks and breakout sessions, inspirational Masses, adoration, music, and worship, a full-range of fun camp activities, delicious food and a reassuring overall 3 to 1 camper/adult ratio;
the advantages of a smaller camp population (95 per session including CYC staff) where community builds quickly, everyone gets to know the whole group, campers are less likely to feel left-out, and adjustments/improvements to the schedule can be more readily made;
a focused opportunity for pastors and youth ministers to truly connect or reconnect with the teens they will disciple all year;
a nearby "spiritual home" with sacramental and worship assistance for year-round parish and school retreats;
connections with youth ministers, teens, and programming in nearby parishes and schools throughout the school year;
pricing, proximity and scheduling to accommodate your budget and time constraints.

CYC SESSION 1: Sat, June 14 - Thu, June 19 – 5 spots open
Participants: Central Catholic-Toledo, Notre Dame -Toledo, St. Mary Catholic Central/OLMC/St. Joseph-Erie, and St. Francis de Sales-Toledo

CYC SESSION 2: Tue, July 8 - Sun, July 13, 2025 – Session Full
Participants: Little Flower-Toledo, Lumen Christi - Jackson, Our Lady of Lourdes-Toledo, Ss. Patrick/Anthony-Grand Haven, St. Rita-Clarklake, St. Ursula-Toledo, and Youth Group-Jackson

CYC SESSION 3: Tue, July 15 - Sun, July 20, 2025 – Session Full
Participants: St. Joseph - Maumee

Registration is open. Use the "Reserve spots button" to reserve spots or to be placed on the waiting list. Spots often open up when deposits are due (i.e. Dec 31). After January 1, spots are given away first come, first serve to any parish or school that pays the $200 deposit. Those on the waiting list will be considered first.

CAPACITY: 65 campers plus the youth ministers/chaperones per session.

AGES: Current 8-12 graders (Class of 2025 through 2029).

COST: $475 per participant. Cost includes lodging, meals and all activities.
No cost for clergy and religious.

$200 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: We will hold spots without deposits until January 10, 2025. Afterwards spots without deposits will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

FULL PAYMENT DUE: June 1, 2025.

Activities

New for 2025: AN ESCAPE ROOM!!! plus a full range of activities campers love: swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaks, paddle boards, pontoon boat rides, low-ropes course, paintball, gaga ball, 9‑square, basketball, volleyball, spike-ball, capture the flag, crafts, campfires, s'mores and more.

Faith Formation

Through thought-provoking discussions; heartfelt testimonies; joyful, energetic worship; quiet, peaceful adoration; and inspiring, beautiful Masses campers and staff celebrate Christ's intimacy, glory and love.

FACILITIES

Camp DeSales features retreat facilities and delicious food in a fun, friendly camp setting. Please contact camp for a tour - we would love to show you the property.

LOCATION

Located on Vineyard Lake in the Irish Hills of Michigan and owned by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, Camp DeSales has been in operation since 1948.
